When you wrote about a cheaper execution of the Principio Limited Edition my first thought was that this would be a watch with the German PUW movement, similar dial, a less expensive case and produced in a larger quantity.
I ask for your understanding that I can’t remember time and content of our phone talk. But if you specifically asked for ‘a basic steel case, average eta movement’ and that the key issue for you was the dial with the dramatic - and very appealing color contrasts, then, well, my information was not correct.
There was no need at all to really ‘sell’ the limited edition. As already Mr. Walker explained, we could have sold much more than this tiny quantity of 42 pieces. Also it could be possible, that when we had our phone talk, the future design of the Principio collection was not finished. Frankly, I don’t know.
Now, what to do? First we want to have customers, who are content with their Limes. Second, I’m feeling very uncomfortable having given – unwillingly - a wrong information to a customer, who due to that buys a watch, he does not need or want.
That’s why I want to offer you to give back the Principio Limited Edition and against a Limes you really want. The price difference we would of course credit to you.
I hope that the above is written in understandable English and that I have not – unwillingly – written something misleading.
