Thanks for your post. The original 2892 (non A2) has been out of production for a number of years, so it's common to refer to the current A2 model as just a '2892', or sometimes a '2892-2'. All models of Limes 2892 based watches use the current 2892-A2 and have since we started making watches with this caliber in the late 1990's Good question. Best regards, Steven Walker - Limes U.S.
