Limes nightflight vintage (older version) handwinding

Steven,
I'm under the impression that the older Nightflights (coinedge/onioncrown/date at 3/mineral xtal) contain ETA movements. The other day i was trying to handwind it and noticed the rotor span (or at least tried to move) as a direct result of my handwinding via the crown (fully pulled out). Is this the way the watch is supposed to act? I'm a little worried about damaging it but can't wear it everyday to keep it wound fully (and my winders are out of space). Please let me know your thoughts.

Thanks!

Sam
