Watches for smaller wrists

I have a fairly small wrist so I tend to look for watches in the 35-36mm size range. As I am now euphamistically referred to as "middle-aged", my eyesight is not what it was 20 years ago, so I like a big date.

The Cartouche appears from the web pictures to be a very attractive model but, at 38mm, I fear it may be a little bit big.
The Chyros is the right size, but the date window looks too small and I am not as fond of the coin-edge on the side.

Does anyone wear the Cartouche on a small wrist?
