the modified / decorated movements that we use, have the capability to be more accurate than the standars movements, especially in various positions, and at extremes of temperature.
You could keep both watches running in this manner with no problem, as long as you are active enough to reach at least 24 out of the approx 44 hour power reserve. Many people who have 'desk jobs' find that an automatic watch will stop running 8 - 12 hours after taking it off. This is normal. You can augment the winding by holding the watch in the palm of your hand and rotating your wrist so the rotor spins. Do this for a couple minutes.
