Not really. I just like watches to work as well as they are designed to work. While I don't expect a mechanical watch to be as accurate as a quartz watch, I would hope one 2824-2 movement would be about as accurate as the next one. Is that too much to expect?

For $295, Mr. Walker says that it is. Spend more for a COSC watch and I could expect more. Accuracy variability aside, I still find the Limes Nightflight 2 to be very attractive and a good value at its price.

Perhaps, it is even a good enough value to take a chance and buy one. Then, if it needs it, for not too much money, have a good watch maker regulate it to my standards, rather than to Limes.
