Winding Direction of Rotor

I just received my Nightflight Vintage (Silver Dial) and I have to say that it has already exceeded my expectations. This is my first mechanical watch and I don't think that I could ever buy another quartz (except as a "bang-up" watch for working out and other strenuous physical activities). I do have one question, however...

I saw Steven's post earlier on regarding the fact that it is better to wind the watch by holding it in one's hand and simply rotating one's hand so that the rotor spins. Does it matter which direction that it spins? Clockwise or counter-clockwise? I've seen other, more expensive movements in magazines that mention that they only wind the mainspring in one direction.

Thanks!

Rob
