Response to GMT dial

 

that the outside dial, the GMT dial, is a 24 hour dial. Each hour on the standard dial represents 2 hours on the GMT dial. For instance, the marker at 6 on the standard dial expresses 12 on the GMT dial. This is the only way in which the watch would be able to display the GMT time in situations where there is more than 12 hours difference.
