Dial question / suggestion

On Limes watch dials, why is the word "automatic" spelled in English? Why not the German "automatik", with a "k"? Is this a regional marketing decision? Even though I live in the U.S., I would much prefer "automatik"; to reflect the origin of the watch, even though "Made In Germany" also appears on the dial.

Mr. Walker: I ordered a Principio Titan on Friday. You stated that you will not fax the order to Germany until Monday. That's good. I will try to contact you via phone this weekend to see if it's possible that European models exist with "automatik" on the dial, and if such a model can be imported to the U.S.
