I have both a Chyros stainless chrono and a Principio GMT and have been able to get long straps for each. I also have deployment straps, but I've only put them on my long straps (I didn't get short or regular straps with my watches) and there is some bet of strap left over after using the deployment buckle. The end of the strap then has to be pushed through the "keeper" of the strap - just as it would with a regular buckle. I really think that the deployment buckle may work better for me with a shorter strap.
