cleaning nightflight vintage?

I've had my NF-V for about 3 weeks now, and she's definitely getting a little...um...scuzzy.

How should I clean her?

I figure, I can use warm water and soap on the case, but I've been told that this combination can cause breakdown of the seals. True? What about cleaners like Windex?

Additionally, I'm sure water isn't exactly the best thing for the leather strap (you can see all my previous watches were either rubber or steel bracelets.)

What's the official recommendation?

Thanks.
