C.L., I can't believe you remember how I wore my hair! I don't have much of a memory but why is it that I can't remember things I wish I could and can remember things I wish I couldn't??
Well, the "Gatlin Girls" were on the road again last weekend. We went to visit Linda Kay at her new nest and as usual, we had a wonderful time being together. While we were all together, we started talking about having our "65-66" reunion in October. We tossed around some ideas and have come up with a plan. I had already checked with our usual place and the new Holiday Inn. We will be going back to The Inn where we usually have our reunions because the Holiday Inn is too expensive. They have the nerve to charge $200.00 to set the tables for dinner when you are paying them for the dinner!! I couldn't believe that one! Also, the Inn will give us a really good room rate. The rooms won't be as nice as the new place but who cares? Also, Greg has offered to DJ for us so that will save us that cost!
We have picked the date of "Oct. 25th" and there is a home football game on the 24th. We thought it would be fun if a bunch of us went to the game together. Sheila F. wondered if anybody would be interested in going to CHS for a tour? We will be getting in touch, but everybody mark your calendar and make plans to be with us for the 24th and 25th of October. See you then!
