We had a very interesting day today. We rode in a "Benefit Ride" for Richard Fleming and his family. There were 50 bikes and when we got to the top of the hill in Clintwood, we had a police escort (with lights flashing) to take us to the nursing home. Susie had brought Richard outside where he was given the card with all the money that was collected for them. It was so good to see that he was able to be outside. When we got home, I realized I had lost one of the earrings that Sandy had given me last week for our anniversary! I was so upset! Sandy told me to wear one and when somebody ask me about it; to tell them that I wasn't going to wear the other one until Richard could ride again!

Jennings, your letter is in the mail but the plan is as follows: Oct. 24th meet at CHS at 6:00 to tour the school, sit together at the ballgame with refreshments in the Field House after the game. Reunion at "The Inn" on Oct. 25th.
