Dixie got a grreat report at the doctors office yesterday! And her own doctor was not even in. That's significant because other doctors usually freak out when they she her charts. But this one lowered her insulin.The sonogram revealed the baby ( who still doesn't have name) is well over 5 pounds,a giant in Dixie terms. We got a really cute face shot but we have discoverd that the actual sonogram pics get white spots from the scanner so I can't show you.
Mama went back to the hospital yesterday with a blood clot in her leg but today she is better. My brother said she was actually feeding herself and that's a big improvement.
I got 2 coats of the black base coat on the fish last night. He looks so good. It's really cool to have met Lauren and have someone helping me. We had fun even if I do have black spots and icky black under my fingernails. There will be pictures in the next few days. I laid on my back and painted his stand and belly for hours and now I HURT!
My neice who married her best buddy from highschool and proclaimed they were never having kids because they are never growing up ( and so far we believed her!) is pregnant. My sister said she is scared to death and so is her sweet little hubby. I think, however, that they will be the best parents ever. They have and are so much fun. The child will grow up with parents who still play together and have a blast being together! I think that sounds just as good as any other scenario! They are afraid now but when the baby get here it will be loved and cuddled and played with so much!
