Shenanigans –

At 9:44 of the third period after Brooklin’s 10th goal, coach Troy Cordingley continued to have a few choice words with Gary Martin and Mark Gardonio. After a number of warnings throughout the game, the refs had enough and ejected Cordingley with a game misconduct.

Notes:

The game was what was expected by most. A tough battle with up and down action. The difference was goal tending. Gee Nash got off to a tough start allowing 5 goals on 7 shots. A number of questions were asked – should Nash have been rested in the previous game against Akwesasne, should Barrett provided relief earlier, could Nash provide the stellar performance he has all season long?

One off period out of many this season made the difference in the outcome in this game.

Zachary Kruger (Rusty’s 13 month old son) and his mother sat in front of me and every time Kruger scored a goal (3 times) I was given a cookie. He sure knew how to rub it in. Fun saying of the game was by his mother. At 13 months he is almost as tall as Rusty.
