Shenanigans –

The only potential game shenanigan occurred at 3:27 of the second period Tyler Francey took exception to some tight checking from Darcy Powless. Francey objected and received 2 mins for roughing and Powless nothing.

During the first intermission, another potential off the floor shenanigan could have occurred but both combatants decided to let the regular season and playoffs settle their differences. The Goddess of Lacrosse and the Wamper were involved in a friendly debate on the merits of their teams, Brampton for the Goddess, and of course Brooklin for the Wamper. The Goddess took delight in reminding the Wamper that Brampton was 5-0 and Brooklin were hoping to better a .500 record.

Notes:

Both the Goddess and the Wamper continue to conduct interviews with current and past lacrosse players to preserve the history of the game. The Goddess is concentrating on current players while Wamper is interviewing former players who played in the forties, fifties, sixties, and seventies.

Brooklin played a fast paced game throughout the sixty minutes while Akwesasne had difficulty in finishing their plays. Both goalies played well.

Joe Rosa appeared to suffer a serious knee injury when a Brooklin player rolled onto his left leg. He was taken to hospital for an assessment. The results have not been announced.
