Shenanigans –
At 11:14 of the first period Shawn Summerfield high sticked Mike Shaw and then they decided to exchange blows. Summerfield got the best of Shaw. Penalties were Summerfield, 2 mins high sticking and 5 mins fighting; Shaw, 5 mins fighting.
At around the 15 min mark of the first period, Frank Littlejohn tried to entice an Arthur player to fight by pulling off his helmet. Littlejohn received 5 mins for face mask.
Kevin Taylor sat out the first game of his three game suspension.
Notes:
Mike Miron got caught out of his net on Arthur’s fourth goal.
It looked like Arthur was going to make this a very competitive game but Ajax-Pickering turned it on in the second period outplaying and outscoring Arthur 7 to 1 to essentially win the game.
