Shenanigans –

At the end of the second period, Kevin Taylor levelled Luke Forget much to the displeasure of J.J. Dickie. Taylor wanted to engage Dickie in fisticuffs. Dickie refused to let his helmet come off and Taylor kept trying to pull his helmet off. Taylor received 5 mins for facemasking and Dickie 2 mins for roughing. Many thought that Taylor should have been dealt with more severely because of the manner in which he shook Dickie’s head.

All night long fans in attendance wondered when Frank Littlejohn and Troy Bonterre would meet to discuss the game. It occurred near the end of the game. No fisticuffs ensued but both gave each other a lengthy tongue lashing. Trash talking at its best.

Notes:

Ajax-Pickering had some difficulty in penetrating Owen Sound’s defence and when they did Kevin Beauvais made some key saves.
