Shenanigans:
None. Both teams were too tired from yesterday’s games.
Notes:
Both teams showed the effects of yesterday’s games.
Brooklin got off to a relatively good start but the yellow St. Clair sweaters mellowed Brooklin out and St. Clair was able to score six unanswered goals from the end of the first period to near the mid point of the second to make the game close.
Rick McCulloch was injured on St. Clair’s sixth goal and Scott Wylie was called on to finish the game.
All the St. Clair runners were hoping that Shawn Eby would not get hurt because one of the runners would have to fill in. There was no backup on the bench.
Good to see ex players giving back to the game. Joey Hiltz is in his first season as a referee.
