Shenanigans:

Minor stuff. Near the end of the third period, Kevin Taylor and Ian Harloff of the Rock were looking for dance partners. All of the Merchants dance cards were full. Chaperons Ravary and McCulloch kept everything in order.

Notes (The way I saw it):

Round three of the Battle of Durham goes to the Merchants. Merchants ahead three rounds to none.

Rock showed up with a short bench and no backup goalie. All the junior goalies in the area were playing for their teams.

Andy Rohmer twisted his knee mid way through the first period and retired to the dressing room. Rick McCulloch aggravated a pulled muscle and Scott Wylie replaced him at 16:53 of the first period.

The Merchants were able to withstand every Rock surge and then pulled away when the Rock started to tire.

Referee Scott McCulloch is not related to Rick McCulloch.

Rick McCulloch, Sr. is quite an accomplished artist and showed me an excellent charcoal sketch of a lacrosse player. I think it is a surprise so I will not mention the player's name.
