I am new here and have not read much. Just like to post a note. Do anybody here can give a verse or verses from Scripture that support the theory of the Trinity? The Trinitarian theory presents a ONE "impersonal" God being possessed by THREE "personal" beings (not Gods but persons in one God). By far this is the clearest concept representing the diverse opinions of those who call themselves "trinitarians."
They described God as being the "essense" which is being possessed by the three separate and different persons. I don't know if Marvin B. is here but we have short exchange of text messages before of which his arguments only added my little confusion about this confusing claims of the so-called "great minds" in theology and scholarship. I desire to read your comment here or from anybody who has a clear conception of the Trinity Theory.
Is God a person? Their theory has this in a negative. God, for them is the "essence" possessed by the three persons. So God, from these perspective is not a person. Jesus is not God in a sense we normally understand it, but Jesus is a person who possess all that God is. However, the confusion now is the non sequitur conclusion: Therefore Jesus is God.
Again, if anybody here has the Scritural evidence to support this Trinity Theory, please post them in here.
