I run one in my S code 69 Mach 1. I also have an electric fan set up that came from Northern that includes two dual 11" SPAL electric fans with a nice alluminum shroud. I had a Flexalite fan before. The mechanical fan cannot compete. The electric set up outperforms the mechanical in my opinion. So far no problems, and with the current combo, no cooling issues. I have even driven it in 40 min of hot stop and go traffic from Los Angeles. I was surprised, never got on the "H" side. Later.
