I once read a "road test" [in a magazine that is no longer in business] on a 66 or 67 GTA Fairlane that the so called driver complained about wheel spin leaving the line in 1st gear. He could not control the wheelspin so he just left the line in 2nd gear and then complained that the car was a dog off the line and went on rip the car in other areas. I think he just hated Fords or was paid by GM to make the Chevys and Pontiacs look good by making the others look bad.
