I want to swap the billet H pattern shifter on my Jerico for a V-gate; question is, can it be a simple bolt on using the same shift rods? Also, does it use the same adapter plate as the H-pattern one?

I am guessing that the rods will be longer on a H-pattern shifter. If you have to buy new rods I can tell you where to buy them for 10 bucks a piece, Jerico wanted 20 each. I moved my Long verti-gate shifter back and bought longer rods. I would just call Jerico and they would know on the mount, or go to their website.

This picture shows the old rods.

I like your front bearing retainer as well. Hope you get to try the thing out soon.
