It's time for our sleeper truck to go to a good home. Description: 1968 F100 long bed originally 360 three on the tree. Has a '69 390 GT engine from a '69 Torino that was wrecked just after purchase. Approximately 60K miles on the engine since new. Standard bore and std/std crank. One piston was replaced due to it being stuck in the bore after sitting before it was inserted in this truck. Holley #4452 600 CFM carb on a cast iron CJ intake. Comp Cams 280 hydraulic with Rhoades lifters. This is the only engine that works great with the Rhoades - go figure. The HD 3 spd manual tranny was replaced with a lower mileage boneyard unit and works fine. The shifter is now on the floor as the factory column linkage just got too sloppy. Rear end is a Ford complete over the counter unit 3:25 open. Bench seat was replaced with a pair of '68 Mustang buckets in fair shape. Body and bed are RUSTY and it looks like something from down on the farm - hense the sleeper look. This truck could be fixed up or used as a donor vehicle for all the goodies.
