Recently got a facit N4000. When I turn it on, about 40 or 50% of the time the display says "Err", other times it just says "Off". In addition... I don't have a manual for it, but the panel seems intuitive. I put in a tape to copy, press copy, then start. Most of the time it will read and punch a few holes and then just stop. Sometimes hitting start again it will punch a few more holes. However, most often, it will copy the entire tape, but won't stop copying when the source tape is finished. It just keeps punching feed holes forever. I usually have to hit stop many many times before it finally stops but sometimes I have to turn the unit off.
The front panel has a test button which I assume is diagnostics. However, since I have no manual, I have no way to run any diagnostics.
Would anyone have any idea what might be wrong with this unit? Also, I'd dearly love a pdf of the owner/operator manual for it, or a copy of an original. Any help is MOST appreciated!
