I had quite a few spare parts on hand and decided to use some of the latest aftermarket parts to make something different. This watch has a red dial, steel plonguer hands, an aluminum chapter ring, 24hr bezel insert, and a domed mineral crystal. Thanks to Noah for the dial and bezel insert, to Harold for the hands and chapter ring, and Jonathan for the domed 6105 crystal. I did a WTB ad on SCTF, and Kevin McCarthy was kind enough to send me a super nice case. I had a caseback that was in very good shape. I didn't have a spare 6309 movement so I bought a very inexpensive 6309 dress watch on the bay and used that. It has an English/Arabic day wheel. Duarte at NEWW installed a new click-ball and a NOS crown, and put everything together for me. This is the result. This dial really pops. I've had quite a few comments on it already. The strap is a Hirsch "Waterproof" with a double pad and shark grain. This a super heavy duty strap, and is rated 100m water resistant. As always, thanks for looking.
Kind of a hard dial to photograph with a domed crystal.
