6309 replacement crystal -- recommendations?

Thanks for the advice on the click ball -- heading out to get
the ball-point now to replace ...

Next question (and not the last).

I think the crystal on my 6309 is not glass -- it looks fine
when you look at it head on, but when you look at reflections
in the crystal, the surface is not completely flat like on
my SKX*** watches. It looks like slightly wavy plastic ...

Is this normal? Should I keep it like this -- somehow I don't
think this is what the original was ...

I'm happy to get a new crystal for the watch if that's what
it takes. It sounds like the original crystals were frosted
around the edges (?) ... but most of the replacements are not.

Any recommendations? Keep or replace? Frosted or 100% clear?
Domed or flat?

It sounds like your crystal is probably an original thats been polished or buffed to get scratches out.

Harold (yobokies) sells sapphire 6309 cystals, yobokies@yahoo.com.hk He'll be able to erm... clarify things a little, I'm sure.

Get a new crystal from Harold - it sounds / looks ? as if the one that you have has been over-polished
