He could not possibly say that cutting any kind of tax would help anyone. That would be the equivalent to saying that taxes hurt people.
That would then put all the programs that the Democrats want to institute in jeopardy.
How could they justify raising taxes to pay for government health care, when they just said that cutting taxes would help?
