I know what you mean. You describe it well. The pretty building, the nice clothes, the jumbotrons.... all of this is bunk. It's dust in the wind. It's bogus. There is much to decry. I rather despise the facade of the American church.

But here's the deal: There is something wrong with every church you step into. It is, after all, a human body. Go to any church. It doesn't matter where because everywhere you go there will be people to feed and people who need you. This is the point of the Gospel in regard to the church body.

Thank you for bringing this up; I'm really convicted by this. My attitude toward my church has not been as it should be.
