My habit is to write out more important postings in Word Pad, and then copy and paste it in here.
Anyway, for what it's worth, I agree with what you stated. I don't see much biblical evidence that tithing is necessarily a command or directive that must be followed by the "letter of the law" - at least not in the new covenant that we claim to live under. Yet, the general principle of giving and being godly stewards of our money is something every Christian must wrestle with.
