I heard someone speak on this and I thought I would throw it out here on the forum.

In short, the idea was this: One gauge to assess our spiritual vitality and sense of fulfillment is through our work. To the extent that we enjoy our work in various aspects (our choice of our career, use of our skills/talents, enjoyment of our day-to-day work life), that will greatly affect our spiritual lives for better or worse. What do you think?

Part of this idea "hits home" with me, but in other ways, I think it has many limitations. I welcome your comments and just might elaborate with mine at some point.

This one really makes me think....

In one aspect, what a joy it is to have a "job" that is your passion and that you always love to do!

Then, again, what would we do if there weren't people employed in jobs they may not enjoy, but provide for others.

Then again, maybe someone else would enjoy those jobs, and those people who don't should move off to ones they do enjoy!

I suppose we must always try to make the best and have the brightest outlook we can, no matter what our "employment" is.
