A lot of scopes included with "package deals" are junk. Try the gun with iron sights and you might do better. I've got a buddy here in San Diego who I recommended one of those refurbished Gamo's from Cabelas and with a little work the gun is shooting great for him. You might also try cleaning the barrel real good (if it's never been cleaned) and use a different pellet. I'd recommend CPL's, Beeman FTS's, or JSB Exacts to start with and stay away from pointed or hollow point pellets if you want the accuracy. Big 5 sporting goods should have something (in SD) and I know El Cajon gun exchange has a pretty good selection of pellets.
