I went to Strait Shooter's site to read the specs on a Hawke SR 12 scope for sale on the classifieds, but before I got there I came across the Swift which caught myinterest.
I have an IA mount from Mac-1 to go on my Steroid 342 but any scope is going to have to be scout mounted to "pump it up" an notch or three.
"With a parallax adjustment from 10 yards to infinity this scope is highly adaptable and excellent for use as a target scope Elevation and windage adjustments are mounted full saddle on the hard, anodized 1" tube. Speed Focus adjustment brings you on target easily"
This is the part that has me going, "huh". I don't see any adjustable objective in the pictured scope.
The copy in the chart, contradict this but it also says
Power x Objective 4x32
Minimum Focus Distance 15 Yards
Weight (oz) 9.9
Length (in) 9.4
Finish Matte
Scope Caps Yes
Adjustment Method Screw !!?? Is this mystery how the parallax is adjustable?
Eye Relief 13.8" That's what I'm talkin' about!!!
MOA 1/4"
Reticle Type Duplex
Recoil Rating Light
Is this the scope I hoped but didn't think existed for only $95? Every pistol scope that I've found is non PA and set at 50 yards which is about double the range of most of the shooting I'd be doing at 15-30 yhards.
