This regulated Rapid was originally a 12 Ft/Lb version, but has been adjusted to 24 Ft/Lbs.
It has a quick-fill installed (I believe by Alan Z.)and has a really nice Anschutz trigger with thumb safety.
I got it with the extremely effective factory Theoben moderator, and then installed this even quieter PAG shroud. Of all the airguns I've owned, this is absolutely the quietest.
The walnut stock was from one of the Rapid's with the lousy trigger (that has the safety in front of it) so I had to whittle the stock a bit to allow room for the thumb-safety on the Anschutz trigger. I'm no Steve C., but I did a nice job on it and can take additional pictures tomorrow.
I will also shoot pics of it with the original moderator.
I think that the Rapid is worth about $1,300.00 to $1,400.00 with the factory moderator on it and I think the PAG (Pomona Air Guns) shroud is worth another $200.00 or so.
I'm looking for a Daystate CRX at the moment. I'm ALWAYS looking for DAQ's and other custom-built airguns, but I'd consider taking lower-end guns in trade because I have a good time buying and selling them and talking to fellow Yellow-Forum members in the process.
Please e-mail pictures of potential trades to: rickpetersonms@aol.com or call me at
