Running with the choke on is your clue. Your machine needs more fuel on the bottom end. First make sure the carbs or injectors are clean,next check the throttle has the correct free play.Next check the fuel pump pressure and verify if it is within spec. Make sure your lines are tight and all filters are not restricted. Good Luck
