My senior class spent a week at Manitou Springs more than 50 years ago (1954). Excerpts from that trip are posted on our alumni website. Does anyone know where the McLaughlin Lodge was located in Manitou Springs? Is their a website that may have the information? I remember the lodge main room was covered with photographs of senior classes that had chosen the lodge for their senior class trip. To celebrate our 55th class reunion we would like to return to Manitou Springs. It would be nice to know where the lodge was located. Any help is appreciated.

The McLaughlin Lodge is still located off of Crystal Park Road - about 1/2 mile up Crystal Park Rd. from Manitou Avenue. It is now a part of the Cheyenne Village Organization - an organization that helps adults with learning disabilities. The small individual lodge facilities are occupied by individuals that are suported by Cheyenne Village - they no longer offer lodging to tourists.
