I think it was db using the stylophone in the Reality Tour (Slip Away) that made my partner say 'oh, he's left-handed' - I hadn't really noticed before.
hmm thanks Sean, but not 100% sure it's just writing. If I peg out washing I peg with the right, but does a left-hander not peg with the left? I won't go into the sexual activities... but being ambi could come in handy...

Shamefully it was also a long time before I noticed he was left-handed. It was only last year that I noticed. I assumed because he was playing the guitar right-handed that there was my answer. Imagine how hard it is to play an instrument with your weaker hand. Again, I hadn't noticed him playing the stylophone with his left hand either.
Bowie mainly strums the guitar, that's why he gets other guitarists in to do the hard stuff, the diddly diddly solos and all that. I actually agree with him on that. All he has to do is come up with the song and basic melody, then he can go and hire whoever he wants to embellish them.
How else do you think Gerry Leonard and Cat Russell got the Bowie gig?
Imagine an orchestra. Bowie's the conductor and he conducts the musicians around his songs. That may also have been something difficult for Reeves to handle too. Too many chefs spoil the broth.
