This is an exciting time for Bowie right now

This may be one of the most stirring times in Bowie's career. The reason? As if it were voodoo, Ziggy Stardust has risen from the grave.

Bowie's album, Live In Santa Montica, a famous bootleg, has been given official release. All of the famous magazines are reviewing it, giving it five stars. Every important forum has dedicated threads to this live, hard rock disc.

One by one, Ziggy and his band have been resurrected: Ziggy himself, with a red shag and a white Japanese jumpsuit. Mick Ronson, whose snarling guitar is once again spectacular in its greatest setting: Bowie's songs. The most competent rhythm section in hard rock and roll, Woody and Gilly, are back in position.

Bowie has nicknamed his partnership with Ronson "the snake and I" and nowhere does Ronson sound more like a spitting cobra than in the art rock classic, Width of a Circle. In this version, it is almost all Ronson, coiled, twisting and striking with menace until Bowie enters with the great line, "he swallowed his pride and puckered his lips."

This album is no 30th anniversary. It is Ziggy Stardust, live and hungry, introducing his great songs to a curious US audience that has barely heard of him.

This is a great time for Bowie fans everywhere. Ziggy has been raised.

Well the pensions were out on the 30th. I suppose the baby bonus will mark the middle of the month, and it his household income is below $33,000 plus or take, then he's due for a an HST quarterly cheque.
....So yeah, every day brings a new dance I'd say.
