I think this is a really cool idea, and I spent two hours scribbling up a design when this concept was first posted a couple of weeks ago. (Now, if I could just find that scratch paper again...)
But, given that the list of things I already have or want to do is roughly three times longer than I can reasonably be expected to live, I probably won't be able to participate.
However, I'd like to sweeten the pot: I am officially offering a $50 gift certificate good for anything in my Store- the last, and hopefully the biggest, shirt run of the year will start towards the end of October, but the certificate can be used for any later run as well.
That's $50 for each category, by the way. Smallest single shot, smallest multi-shot, and overall favorite. Even if one winner takes more than one category- build the right gun, and get $150 worth of free swag!
And while I wouldn't mind being one of the judges, I won't make that a stipulation for the prize. I'm more than confident the MCB crew can pick a good winner and that nobody'll be stuffing the ballot box.
I may throw in a bonus prize for one that I think is especially clever or nicely designed, even if it doesn't win one of the main classes. But that one'll be entirely up to me, to be issued at my own discretion. So make it look good, as well as small.
