The Z-Grips varies on the market. i know it runs between $100 to $150 on average and is the steady price range. remember there are only 400 made.
2) how much is it worth on a mid-90's automag with a powerfeed body and lvl7 bolt?
If the guy is offering you it for $200 hurry up and pick it up. depending on how you want to break it down depends on the price. Whole gun probably worth $200 to $250. part it out even more.
3) how do you set it up to work with the intellifeed thing and what kind of hopper would be necessary for that?
all the ones i have seen are not set up for an intellifeed. if your using a halo or any other force fed hopper you are better off. all the intellifeed does is allow you to a Revy and each time you pull the trigger it would spin the paddles in the Revy instead of waiting for the eye to spot an opening.
4) is there anything I should ask the guy before buying it? Anything I should look for? (this will be my first automag)
just make sure it's in good working order. try to pick up any extra parts in the deal. if possible, see if you can shoot the market and get it over a chrono.
5) would I, in the future, be able to put a tac-one body, x valve, and ULE trigger on it?
yes to all above.
6) does it have wings? i will have to say yes as the back half along the rail is higher by the look of the photo. if it does you can only use it with the classic rails. if you want to use a RT rail you will need to have the wings milled off.
hope this helps. i love my Z-Grip but i am moving over to a Cripple Z. part of a project that i have been working with Jay at CI in creating. if you have anymore questions or need to see more photos email me. peace 'Busa
