Found this article on Chad Johnson's official web site. Does he want to be traded or not? I Personally feel his biggest problem is he is slowly becoming the #2 Receiver and dosnt like it. Kind of has a T.O. syndrome where he thinks every ball should be thrown to him.

Below is the article:

The Cincinnati Bengals are waiting, very patiently, for one of their best players to make a career transformation.

They want Chad to pull off a Kobe.

Like numerous great athletes such as Tiger (Woods), Michael (Jordan) and Magic (Johnson), Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant and Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson have reached a level of fame where they're easily identifiable by first names only.

Kobe, who spent last offseason causing off-the-court drama with trade requests and public bickering with management, turned all those negatives into positives. He stayed in L.A., became the NBA's Most Valuable Player and is trying to lead the Lakers to their 15th NBA championship.

From bleak to bliss, the Lakers' season has been nothing short of amazing. Kobe could've torn the team apart. Instead, he became the glue that held it together. He got the help he was longing for when the Lakers acquired Pau Gasol, and Kobe became what one L.A. journalist called "an approachable leader playing the best basketball of his career."

Now it's Chad's turn. He's already demanded a trade, bickered with management and blasted teammates. All that's left for him to do now is own up to his mistakes, honor his contract, grab his teammates by the lapels and lead the Bengals to only their second playoff berth in 18 years.

Knowing Chad's history, how he slipped through every crack in life to become an NFL star, he just might be able to pull this off.

First thing's first, however. He must go from malcontent to man.

Thanks for the read fulcher.

The only difference I can see is that the Lakers picked up Gasol. We picked up nobody.

F U Mike Brown!

I don't see the situations as really being the same.

The Lakers have a long tradition of winning, and while I'm not an NBA guru, I imagine they also have an organization that is completely committed to winning ballgames. The LA market is also a high profile market.

Meanwhile, Chad is being asked to "grin and bear it" while working for a franchise that has a long tradition of losing, is poorly run by the worst owner in NFL history, and has no real committment to winning other than "I, Mike Brown, hope we can win this year." Cinci is also not as high a profile town as LA, and we all know, Chad likes to be in the spotlight, which would be a much brighter spotlight in LA (if they had an NFL team).

The two organizations couldn't be farther apart in tradition and mentality, imo.

Kobe Bryant might have wanted out, but it probably had nothing to do with how bad the Lakers organization sucks.

Agree the only thing the Bengals organization and the Lakers might have in common is when it comes to Organizations and how their run they are antonyms.

However I checked his website a month or so ago an all of the articles were about Chad wanting to be traded. Now the first article on his sight is this one about how Kobe demanded a trade, didnt get traded and has now taken his team deep into the playoffs.

Don’t know how much Chad puts into his own website. If he does maybe this is an indication of his intentions this year. Or just hopeful thinking on my part.

Always have liked Chad as an athlete just not his me me me attitude.

I also think Kobe was upset at the level of talent he had surrounding him more than he was upset about pay or LA. I think Kobe just wanted to be on a winner.

Chad is upset for different reasons.
