The guy was a special teams player, not a starting wide receiver or linebacker with elite potential. I don't have much of a problem with how the Bengals treated their criminal players, I have a problem with them being drafted in the first place.

It seems to me they did the same thing with AJ Nicholson, Mattias Askew and Reggie McNEal - all back ups who played special teams.

The Bengals have demonstrated leniancy towards starters.

Not only are the above points very valid, but it is also easy to cut players that get in to trouble when you have a very deep team.
