Response to FO2 deadline(s)?, other newbie questions |
| Heya Dako-ta. That 18-20 years time limit I read from a Q&A with one of the creators, however this was an old Q&A, and the patch might have changed it.
And since I didn't keep a detailed note* on when the actual date when the game forcefully ended, I only remembered the year. *I didn't even set out to test it really, it was just me goofing around in the nuked out desert.
Now this is something I really want to test again, so I'll know for sure once and for all. There are a few complications unfortunately.
1) My current CD ROM is dead.
2) I might have to do two tests. One without completing the main quest. And the second after completing the game, and choosing the "continue" option.
3) As you have mentioned, 13 years will take a while to reach. I'm hoping that I just misread the original statement, and that 13 just blurred into an 18 when I read it.
ps. How are you doing in FO2 nowadays?
pps. According to the official FAQ, it is 13 years. I still would like to test it with the 2 scenarios, my curiosity is killing me.
