I need the numbers and sizes of the berings and oilrings for the rearaxles from a Cougar XR-7, bj 74
400ci.
I have some problems, theres leaking oil from the axles in the brakedrums.
The dif. is on the backside closed (NO BOLTS) the only way to open the dif is the frontside.
The axle is not round.

Who have some info for me.

you have a 9 inch rearend(these are great). you probably need new axle retainers. to get these off(i just did this a week ago), take your wheels off first. Then you need to get 4 bolts off. these are located behind where the lug studs are. there is a hole that you can get to these from with an extension or deep socket. You should put some wd-40 on these the day before you try to get them off because they can be seized on. Be sure that once you get these bolts out that you support the axle or it may fall and the bearings could get damaged.
