The best way is to just wash it. I would not use any protectant on it like armor all. With it sitting exposed all day, it could have an adverse effect on it. If its white, use bleachy white car cleaner from whitly's.

mine isn't white, its black. i've heard you can use mink oil on them but i'm not sure if its true or not. Does anybody know??

I recently attained a 1978 xr7. the car had 86K miles on it and the top looked brand new. I asked the guy how he kept it maintained. He told me that he simply washed it w/ soap and water, then massaged baby oil into the material. Hope that helps..

i got the new top and it looks great. The guys at the upholstery place told me to use Pledge. interesting eh??
