Response to Scratch built handles

Brass wire in 1 foot lengths and all kinds of sizes suitable for modeling is available in many model shops, try a model train store as railroad modelers use various types of brass for many things and almost all railroad model shops will carry it. or you can order from places like micro mark. another way to straighten wire is to grab one end in a vise and pull on the other with a pair of pliers it will take a little practice pull to much and it brakes pull to little and it doesn't straighten. Hope this helps
