As Dany mentioned in the previous post, I too am debating about a new Iwata. Everyone seems to talk about the HP series but what about the Custom Micron (CM) series brushes? They are, after all, the top of the Iwata airbrush line. Are they not as good as the HP or is the price just too high? Has anyone used a CM series? Thanks,
Kevin,
The CM brushes are for very fine detail work. If that's what you want one for then go for it. On the other hand if you were going to paint the basecoat over the whole model it's the wrong tool for the job. Take a look at the HP series or a Revolution CR for general coverage.

My HP can do such staggeringly fine work, that anything 'finer' just seems like a clogging/clean-up hassle. The HP makes a Paasche VL look like a panel shop gun.
