Here in England Gold Monkey hasn't even been on the horizon since the 1980s and that sucks! I don't remember much about the show (i was 6) but I do recall it was the only show I never missed. I am DESPERATE to get hold of some old episodes on any format - video/dvd etc (any region, ntsc, pal, secam) so if anyone out there wants to help a sad fan please let me know.
British TV has become boring and has lost its way.
Money nowadays seems to be more important than aquiring a common sense of what should be broadcast.
The British are just wasting their TV system which is often classed as the best in the world.
It seems that TV executives just don't have a clue, after all, what would it cost to broadcast 'Tales of The Gold Monkey' on British or U.S TV, compared to what they pay to screen a football match.
Now for the good news. Yes I have got some episodes.
